What does an AI consultant actually do?

We help your business figure out where AI can add real value, choose the right tools, integrate them into your existing workflows, and train your team to use them. The output is a working AI-supported business — not a slide deck.

Where are you based and do you work nationally?

We're based in Kihikihi, Waikato, but we work with NZ businesses nationally. Most of the work is done remotely via video call, with on-site visits when it makes sense. Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Tauranga, Dunedin — we work everywhere.

Why work with a NZ consultant rather than offshore?

How long does an engagement take?

The audit takes 2 weeks. Implementation depends on scope — typically 4-8 weeks. We move fast because we use these tools every day ourselves, not learning on your time.

What size businesses do you work with?

Mostly NZ SMEs between $500K and $20M in revenue. Big enough to have processes worth integrating AI into, small enough that a focused consultant makes a real difference. We occasionally work with larger businesses.

Do we need to be technical?

No. Everything we set up is designed to be used by your existing team in their normal workflow. No engineers, no AI specialists, no separate team to manage. The whole point is that it just becomes part of how you work.

What tools do you typically recommend?

Our default stack includes Claude, ChatGPT, automation platforms like Make and n8n, and integrations with whatever you already use — HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Notion, Slack. The exact stack depends on your business.
